AmeriFlux - ALEXI Comparisons

The AmeriFlux network is a confederation of flux measurements sites within the U.S. geared toward monitoring terrestrial exchanges of carbon and water vapor. Of these sites, 3 were selected with daily reporting of observations made from tall (50m) towers over relatively homogeneous land surfaces, sampling flux footprints most comparable with the 10km ALEXI grid.

Click on a flux station to see a comparison between observed fluxes and 10km predictions from ALEXI. These comparisons are updated daily, so check back frequently to see how the model is performing.

See the AmeriFlux web site for more information on the AmeriFlux network.
