SPECIES.DOC (ASCII), a 16-page documentation file 3. SPECIES.WK1, a Lotus 1-2-3 compatible worksheet file 4. SPECIES.BAK, a backup file needed only in the event that SPECIES.WK1 is accidentally overwritten 5. SPECIES.XLS, an Excel 4.0 for Windows file Additional files--PLAYER.TXT, PLAYER.EXE, (C)ALDUS.'92, and SPECIES.DEM--may also be distributed to run the optional screen demo program SPECIES.DEM on a VGA-compatible monitor. To run the demo from the DOS command line when both files are in the same directory, use the command: PLAYER SPECIES.DEM The demo requires a VGA or SVGA monitor. Results look best on a 640x480x256 color monitor. See the file PLAYER.TXT for details. The documentation file for SPECIES has been written without exponents, Greek letters, and other characters outside the standard ASCII symbol set so that hardcopy of the documentation file may be sent to a standard printer by typing: COPY [path:\]SPECIES.DOC PRN The SPECIES menu may be called to the spreadsheet command line in Lotus-compatible programs by pressing the ALT and A keys.
