Cover crop species and management:
On farm study in Jefferson County. Three cover crop species (Crimson Clover, Chickling Vetch, and Berseem Clover) are compared with composted chicken manure and no use of cover crop in a diverse organic cropping rotation (red beet/kidney bean/buckwheat). In addition, three plow under dates are being compared.
